Ascendant Technology Wins the 2011 Rational Business Partner Innovation in Sales & Marketing Award

ORLANDO, FL – June 8, 2011 - Ascendant Technology (Atech), a premier IBM systems integrator, is proud to announce that it has been selected as a winner of the Rational 2011 Business Partner Innovation in Sales and Marketing Award. This award recognizes the IBM Business Partner that most effectively promotes the Rational portfolio through the creation, messaging and marketing of customer-relevant offerings. Chosen from several hundred eligible business partners, Atech will be honored at the 2011 IBM INNOVATE Conference in Orlando, FL on Wednesday, June 8.
Atech helps our customers to optimize the business process of software delivery by introducing and enhancing techniques for Agile development, automation and quality management. Atech has realized the benefits of Rational tooling in our consulting business and we share this experience with customers and prospects through a combination of webinars, targeted messaging campaigns and events. Atech also provides Cloud based pilots of Rational products.
Highlights from our Sales and Marketing leadership over the past year include –
- Working collaboratively with thought leaders from IBM Rational, Atech delivered a six part Zen Master webinar series, focused on scaling agile delivery for the enterprise though disciplined Agile delivery techniques, Agile testing and the Rational Jazz solutions.
- Across Europe, Atech worked with IBM to execute a campaign to inform existing IBM WebSphere middleware customers about the potential benefits of the Rational Automation Framework for WebSphere, a solution that reduces the total cost of ownership of IBM WebSphere middleware environments.
- Atech participated in a number of Rational Comes to You events, Agile workshops and proof of technology sessions across the US, Canada and Europe.
- Held several one-on-one and one-on-many Proof of Technology and Cloud-based Pilots of Rational Software.
