Summary:
Development of large e-Commerce sites on IBM WebSphere software. Must be self motivated and have the ability to collaborate within a team environment. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required.
Skills Required:
- Lead the design and development of large e-Commerce sites.
- Design and develop high-quality Java / J2EE / WebSphere Commerce based applications through entire development life cycle for production quality web-based systems on major engagements.
- Create proof-of-concept implementations of Commerce based applications using new and upgraded WebSphere technologies (e.g., Portal, MQ Series, Web Services / SOA, etc.)
- Install/Upgrade, configure, and tune WebSphere products (Commerce, WAS, WPS) at customer sites and in CGS labs
- Mentor client IT teams in Commerce Development and WSAD/Portlet Toolkit best practices.
- Must be self motivated and have the ability to lead within a team environment. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required.
- Must have 5-6 years experience in J2EE Application Development
- 4 or more years experience working with WebSphere Commerce Server
Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent required
